Youth Ministries

BOY'S ACADEMY An outreach ministry for boys/girls to teach them the ways of Christ, a deeper appreciation of their racial heritage and higher level of dignity in living. - Coordinator:
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Provides an environment for religious training to our children ages 2 - 12 yrs. old at their level of understanding. - Coordinator:
TEEN TIME An outreach ministry for teens, designed to teach biblical principles and their application to the issues that they face in their day to day life. - Coordinators: Patrick Hopkins; Margaret Arthur

The Youth Ministry of Morning Star Baptist Church offers a variety of programs, services, and activities designed to help young people of all ages grow spiritually and socially, as well as provide opportunities for community involvement, recreation and development of talents and special interests.

With the many challenges that young people are faced with today, this ministry has obligated itself to support, reach out to, and love youth of our community, that they may grow knowing that they play a significant role in shaping the future of the world in which they live.

It is our prayer and goal to equip young people to meet the challenges they face with faith and confidence. To make differences in their churches, homes, schools and communities, by first making a difference in their own lives.
